I (finally) was able to escape my expectations and let my creativity flow! For this project, I cut slits into foam and stuck open jump rings into the slits. I really liked how the shadows interfered with the rings, so I continued inserting them horizontally on a curved line to make the shadows even more prominent. I then photoshopped the contrast and clarity of the image to make it more artistic. I used a photoshop filter to make the “glowing” black version.
To further the project forward, I rotated and reflected 2×2 squares of the images.
