This piece represents my identity as I struggle with anxiety disorder. There are two similar depictions of my hands on top of each other, one being in red and the other in blue. Together, the two drawings exhibit movement of my right thumb across my left hand creating wrinkles in my skin. This movement has become a coping mechanism for me when I deal with anxiety. I drew other versions that were more simple and clear, but I felt that the chaotic nature of this piece adds an interesting layer. I struggle with realism, so the style and coloring of this piece is representative of my artistic habits.
