I thought about how different forms of the hand can represent different feelings and tell certain characteristics about the owners of the hands. The hands in my project tell a story with their forms. It shows desperation, desire, and acceptance. We are constantly hindered with our doubts, fears, and anxieties. It is safer to close into ourselves and to stay where we are comfortable, but it only serves to hurt ourselves. We all have the desire to move forward, to become someone we can be proud of and to change. It is through our connections with other people where we can learn to strive for change, despite our fears and setbacks.
